- Learn what resources are available to you to begin your college search; use our ‘Resources’ page to begin.
- Start your college search and visits. Decide which characteristics are most important to you such as the size of the school, distance from home, cost and extracurricular activities.
- Continue extracurricular activities, volunteer work etc. that you are passionate about.
- Continue participation in academic enrichment programs, summer workshops, and camps with specialty focuses such as music, arts and science.
- Update file of important documents and notes.
- Prepare for standardized testing- ACT PLAN or PSAT in the fall to help you prepare for the actual ACT and SAT.
- Sign up for junior year courses keeping in mind that you want to challenge yourself with tougher courses. Next year you may register for AP Advanced Placement) courses.
